Recently a preservative widely used in the natural skincare industry was marked to be banned:

Why I Initially Decided Against Glass
Why 15 years ago I decided not to use a glass bottle for Angelpaste but today I have found the perfect solution.
When I first started Angelpaste 15 years ago I had a beautiful decorative glass bottle that looked just like an expensive (I thought) perfume bottle. That was the look I wanted. I also wanted to use glass because it was high end and also better for you.
Then it hit me.
Literally.
I dropped the dumb thing on my bathroom floor and then somehow got a tiny shard of glass LODGED IN THE BOTTOM OF MY FOOT. I was watching one of my favorite YouTubers, Urban Rescue Ranch, which features an animal sanctuary in Waco run by a kind, Christian man who rescues unwanted animals and gives them a second chance at life. He showed us the baby pool he bought and filled it with oranges donated by the local grocery store.

Why Lavender Is for Adult Women
I don’t use lavender oil because I’m afraid it could disrupt the hormones of the children who use it.
When I used to work for a famous cosmetic surgeon/dermatologist we saw many cases of gynecomastia which is the development of breast tissue in males. It can be resolved with an incision around the areola and the removal of the breast tissue and sometimes skin excision. In some instances, it can be liposuctioned out with a thin cannula to reduce scarring.

He was so ashamed and had to use tape to appear normal. When I talked to him on the phone I told him not to be embarrassed and it was a common occurrence and could be remedied with a short surgery. He cried tears of joy after he revealed his chest because he said I was the first woman who had ever seen it and I reacted with a quick “Oh that’s no problem - we can fix that.” instead of the reaction he had imagined a woman might have.
My heart ached for the pain he must have endured thinking women would find him disgusting.
After his surgery he said a weight had been lifted off of him - he was so grateful to feel “normal”.
I saw the same phenomenon in the men who took female hormones to develop breast tissue of their own. But they were doing this on purpose. John never took hormones - did he?
It made me wonder if it was something these men had been exposed to topically or internally.

Could these all be fake and created to keep us from using lavender oil to our benefit: YES
I entertain that possibility but I’m not willing to risk it on my own family or customers. I’ve seen people claim soy can have a similar effect which is one of the many reasons I would never have it in my workshop or home. That doesn’t mean it isn’t a good thing to use in Anna’s Wild Yam Cream which is said to help women suffering from symptoms of menopause because it might aid in balancing hormones.
I just don’t feel comfortable using something in my products that could cause harm to anyone. Please feel free to message me if you have contrary information that could convince me otherwise!
I only want to make Angelpaste if it is something that Almighty God has ordained.
Psalm 1 of the King James Bible says:

A Japanese Study for Crepey Skin
There is a study done in Japan showing that the skin on your body looks even smoother in people who did exercise than those who did not. Don’t forget to add Angelpaste to the mix!
I don’t trust the feds or any of these studies but when an angelpaster and friend
said that her knees and elbows weren’t being repaired by angelpaste as much as her hands it made me wonder why.
In my own experience, I have had crepey skin on my knees and thighs and arms.
So I started listing off the things that helped me get rid of them:
Me: Dry brushing?
Friend: I do that.
Me: Using olive oil soap?
Friend: I got mine.
Me: Exfoliating with a salux cloth during baths?
Friend: I’ll get one!
Me: Body scrub?
Friend: They tend to make my bath slippery.
Me: Diet full of eggs and other vitamin rich foods?
Friend: very healthy diet
Then I said: Have you tried doing lunges and lifting weights?
You see I was listing off all the POSSIBLE variables that could have helped my skin and not hers.
We’re similar ages and skin types and she is a very beautiful woman who has always taken great care of her body.
Friend: I do regular walks daily.
We ended our chat and I was stumped.
Why did my skins texture on my arms and legs improve and hers did not?
THEN I saw this study:
“Resistance training rejuvenates aging skin by reducing circulating inflammatory factors and enhancing dermal extracellular matrices”
This was a Japanese study done on healthy middle aged sedentary women. There were two groups:
Women who did aerobic exercise only
Women who did resistance training
Both women had significantly improved skin elasticity but the group who did Resistance Training (which includes lunges) had significant dermal thickness.
Now the cause of crepey skin can be the thinness of the skin so this was a light bulb moment. I looked back in my brain photo album and saw flashes of the super fit women in their 70s I had witnessed and their gorgeous non crepey skin.
I started lunging.
I’m actually lunging as I write this.
JUST KIDDING.

So to reiterate: Angelpaste, non drying soap (maybe no soap on those areas), dry brushing, exfoliating with a salux cloth (amazing Japanese invention), healthy diet rich in vitamin A and other vitamins, sleep, filtered water, and lifting light weights and lunges. If you can’t do those exercises, just look up resistance training that looks easiest for you. I remember my grandma Evelyn used to do Sit and Be Fit! It was sitting in a chair and pulling on these resistance bands she had. She lived to 100 and looked beautiful every single one of those years.

Detox Your Skin
Our skin detoxes about 30% of our waste according to Dr. Sam Bailey. I like to help this process with some clays and aluminum free baking soda to help my skin do the work. Adding Angelpaste afterward keeps my skin silky smooth!
There are over 17 ways to protect your skin barrier while removing dead skin. I use a dry brush before I bathe to get rid of toxins, stimulate new collagen growth, rid myself of dead and dull skin and massaging the fascia. It’s kind of like a work out too! Detox baths are incredibly important for our skin and our health so after I dry brush I get in a hot bath with 1 cup of citric acid, baking soda (aluminum free), bentonite clay, Himalayan sea salt, epsom salt, and a clean soap like borax or castile soap. I soak for 20 minutes while scrubbing with my scrubby towel that reaches every part of my body. I also dunk my head and hair as much as I can. Then after I drain the bath I take a regular shower using a clean soap and sugar scrub to moisturize and polish my skin. Angelpaste Miracle Cream after and a nice relaxing snuggle in a cotton robe and my detox bath is complete! I try to do this at least every 3 weeks. If I buy in bulk I can get this for about 10 dollars per bath. I do this for my health as well because my body is being inundated with heavy metals, toxins and other things and I have to do everything I can to get them out. Supplements like N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) are amazing and I take it every day. Dead Skin Looks Dull
Body brushing is one of the best ways to keep your skin healthy. It also increases overall circulation if done in upward strokes about once a week.
Before you bathe, dry brush your entire body to remove the dead skin cells. By doing so you’re forcing your body to create new skin that’s smoother and softer. You want to treat this new skin right - so give it the gift of healing with Angelpaste Miracle Cream which is full of vitamins, moisture and mimic the natural barrier your body creates to protect it. The only time you need to use Angelpaste Miracle Cream is after you’ve taken a bath (because water is drying), washed your skin with soap (because soap strips your natural barrier), or swum in a body of water. Sit in front of the TV with your dry brush and start at your ankle brushing up toward your knee on your entire lower calf. Then go from the knee up the thigh and focus extra attention (and massage) on the backs of the thighs because they tend to have more cellulite (in women).
